Transitus in alterum sexum: Thomas Aquinas quidamque thomistae

“Can a man change his sex?”, “Can a woman become a man?”, or “a man into a woman?” Somehow these questions, which compete, which have their roots in philosophical anthropology, are bitterly discussed today in the US and to a certain extent everywhere. Having summarily explained these disputes, the position of Thomas Aquinas and that of some of his disciples of this time will be shown. Finally, having briefly reviewed the discussion, an interpretation is proposed.
