Author Guidelines

Author's Guidelines

The submitted contributions (only in spanish) must be original and unpublished scientific articles, proposals for dossiers, bibliographic reviews or unpublished critical notes, which will be sent to a double-blind arbitration system of two pairs of external evaluators.

The journal does not require payment of any fee for the presentation or processing of the materials received. If you need to create a user to submit a text, please contact to [email protected]

The final decision to publish or reject contributions is made by the Editorial Board, which will notify the author in writing.

The call for papers is open permanently, and the journal's management reserves the right to insert the paper in the issue it considers most appropriate for the nature of the collaboration.

Contributions must comply with the following rules of presentation:

  1. The length of the scientific articles should not exceed 25 pages, A4 size, including graphics, tables, figures and bibliographical references, with 1.5 interline spacing; Times New Roman font, body 12 and 2.5 margin on all sides. Use Word's automatic format for indents and without paragraph separation. Please do not use bullets, special line spacing or unusual details that make editing difficult.
  2. The first page will include a summary in Spanish and an abstract in English, of about 10 lines each and no more than four key words, in both languages. It should specify the problem being studied, the objectives and its main contributions. They will be written in single spacing and in Times New Roman font, body 10.
  3. The name of the author should be indicated with an asterisk, and the full name of the institution and e-mail address should be included at the bottom.
  4. The maximum length for the notes and documents section will be 10 pages and for bibliographic reviews 4 pages.
  5. Tables, graphs, figures, maps, etc. will be sent in a separate file; numbered; in black and white and clearly indicating their position in the text. The resolution of the digital image files shall not be less than 200 dpi.

  6. Textual quotations must always be in regular print and in quotes. When they exceed five lines of extension, they shall be placed outside the paragraph, centered and with right and left sangria of 1 cm.

  7. Notes must be placed at the foot of the page, in TNR font, body 10, with the numbering and automatic order system of the word processor, observing the international standards of referencing The Chicago Manual of Style, in its latest edition.

Bibliographic reviews will be headed in the following order: name and surname of the author or authors of the book under discussion, title of the book (italics), place of publication, publisher and year of publication, number of pages; at the end of the note, name and surname of the author.

The proposals of Thematic Dossiers will have one or two coordinators and from four to seven articles (each one of them no longer than 25 pages), with a presentation by the coordinator/s (TNR12 at space and a half in text, TNR10 at single space in notes).
