Stays and Roamings: Approach to Heidegger from the Morphology of Books of Travel

Resumen

In this paper we intend to explore the possibility of structurally assimilate some facets of Heidegger’s philosophy to books of travel, from narrative, descriptive and methodological aspects present in his work. The latter are reproduced analogically in the account of his trip to Greece, entitled "Sojourns" (Aufenthalte), especially the question of formal indication, as it tries to develop a non-objectifying metalinguistic discourse on the origin and whose articulation has a narrative structure. This discursive need arises from the transformation of phenomenology into hermeneutics and the consequent need for self-interpretation of factic life. To do this, ee will first account for narrative aspects of Heidegger’s philosophy in his basal work, "Being and Time". Then, we will discuss the notion of travel writing that will be brought into play in the analysis. We will then examine to what extent Heidegger’s narration of his trip to Greece fits the paradigm of travel writing. Finally, we will deal with the methodological issue of formal indication, which maintains an isomorphic relationship with "Sojourns".
